18.15 - 18.20 Chairman's Introduction: Mark Tapley, Advisor, Lloyd's Register Superannuation Fund Association

Mark began his investment career with JP Morgan in 1974, and was latterly Group Chief Investment Officer at WestLB Asset Management. After retiring in 2000, he taught at various business schools and served on the Board of CFA UK.He now chairs Henderson EuroTrust plc (a closed-end investment company), advises the Consumer Association, and sits on the investment committees of Lloyds Register and its pension funds.Mark has a degree from Oxford in Philosophy and Psychology, an MBA from London Business School, and is a CFA charterholder.

18.20 - 18.40 Rona Train, Senior Investment Consultant, Hymans Robertson

Rona Train is a Senior Investment Consultant and a specialist in DC investment and governance. After graduating from Heriot Watt University with an honours degree in Economics, she worked for 18 years as a client manager in the fund management industry before moving to Hymans Robertson in 2004. Rona works with a range of Hymans DC clients including Michelin, Pennon Group and Experian and chairs the firm-wide DC Strategy Group. She also sits on the DC Investment Group. She is a regular contributor to the pensions press. Rona holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Investment Advice Certificate and is a member of the Council of AIMSE as well as sitting on the Pensions Intelligence Advisory panel.

18.40 - 19.00 Emma Douglas, Head of DC Solutions, Legal & General Investment Management

Emma joined LGIM as Head of DC Solutions in January 2014 and her role involves developing LGIMs DC business and delivering innovative investment solutions to the market. Emma joined LGIM from Mercer where she was Head of Mercer Workplace Savings. Prior to Mercer Emma was Head of DC Sales at BlackRock and Head of DC Pensions at Threadneedle Investments, and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. Emma has a MA in Modern History from Trinity College Oxford and a MBA from Manchester Business School via a Women in Management scholarship from The Guardian. Emma is a member of the NAPF DC council.

19.00 - 19.20 Kim Gubler, Director, Kim Gubler Consulting Ltd.

Kim set up KGC in 2002, which is now acknowledged as one of the UKs leading independent pension and management consultancies. She has a deep knowledge of the governance of both occupational and contract based pensions. She designed the structured research framework for the firm which supports its market review and benchmarking exercises and also developed KGCs Operational Process Audit. Kim is acknowledged by TPR as a specialist DC, is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and on the Examining Board. Kim is a Director of the Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA), chairs the Standards & Accreditation Committee and was directly involved in launching PASAs administration industry standards and accreditation process. Kim is a Business graduate and holds a Diploma in Business Excellence. She is also a Regional Organiser and Adviser for TPAS.
